Someone I know used a Rift Blade, and now there's Black Smoke eating their World. I know this problem is related to the Rift and that you need Rift Removers to make it stop. Although, they have already made and used six Rift Removers on the Black Smoke and it has yet to make it stop. How do they remove it? Do they need to keep making Rift Removers and using them? Is there something special you have to do? Please help! Gamer68 (talk) 03:20, November 3, 2013 (UTC)

Hope i didn't misunderstood your question.
Rift Remover does not have any special way to use, just right click at black smoke and it will destroy the targeted smoke and any smoke nearby (and decrease durability). If there are only a few black smoke, placing any block at it's position can also remove it (cheap but hard way).
If there are THAT much black smoke.. well i can only suggest to move far away or use map editor to remove it.
Make be sure that there is no more rift/black smoke after using Rift Remover, because even something like 3-4 black smoke left can re-expand again.
By the way, you don't need to sign twice :P funAlways (Message Me!) 02:59, November 4, 2013 (UTC)
If necessary, they can open it up in a program like MCEdit, and they will be able to see all of the blocks related to the smoke and it can be removed like this. I once had over a thousand rifts open at one point in one of my maps and went through like 20 rift removers before using this method since it is often a massive pain to get rid of it all through legitimate means if left unattended.
